#USING VOICE TO TEXT ON IPHONE ANDROID#
I'm torn between going back to an android and the trade-off of the group text situation.įor whatever reason, my Gboard still works for dictation on my 13 Pro. Conversely, a Google user tries Google assistant and voice dictation and find it to be increasingly more useful because of effective good it is.Īt this point I love the overall text experience on Apple (namely group texts), just not the voice dictation part.
They always seem a little surprised, which I think is because a lot of Apple loyalists don’t ever use voice dictation or Siri because they know it’s a pretty terrible experience after having tried it a few times. In fact a lot of my friends always ask me how my Apple experience is going and I always tell them about Siri's gaping disparities compared to Google assistant and voice to text. The voice to text functionality of Google is so far superior to that of Apple. I switched to iPhone this past summer after seven years on android and experience the same exact thing.

Just because a phone is heavy and made out of glass doesn't actually mean anything my pro 12 was overheating half the summer because glass is a shit heatsink If you do anything "advanced" with a phone and you're happy with android, stay there (It's the only real leverage that is consistent on all apple users and only in US) "My way or fuck off" for connectivity, file management, customization and the ratings for pro 12 aren't great, real world reviews that is.all that hardware is fucking useless if it can't do basic things because it's just not a priority and the majority only care they have imessage working. Totally fine.īut god help you if you miss more than 5% of android because iOS will infuriate you to no end. Apple people that like it just learn to live with limitations and mostly they've just always had apple. I was considering next pixel 6 etc though once it's out. Top samsung has glass back.most of same construction "premium" materials and they literally provided half the hardware for apple for years.I don't exactly like samsung UI tweaks though. Honestly Samsung is close if not same for most things. /r/iOSSetups for iOS wallpapers, setups, and apps./r/AppleSwap if you want to trade devices!.
